The VacancyWindtechs Ltd, part of RSK Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician to join their team based in Dolfor, Newtown. This is a full-time, permanent position.Windtechs provides a range of services to clients, including annual and intermediate services on original equipment, manufacturer (OEM) factory manual specification annual inspections, major component replacement, including all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic works, optimum sourcing of replacement parts, oil sampling and analysis and high voltage (HV) switching.The successful Wind Turbine Technician will be working alongside RSK group businesses – over 200 companies, utilising Windtechs\’ engineering skill set to enhance the ability to provide a whole turbine service.Role Responsibilities: Servicing Wind Turbines Fault diagnostics Turbine repair Retrofit Major Component exchangesQualifications and Experience: Electrical/mechanical maintenance experience required. Self-motivated & team player Driving licenceSalary and Benefits: £34,000 per annum, rising to £38,000 within 12 months & upon achieving WTSR authorisations. 1 in 3 weekends on call, standby payments of £2.5k per annum + overtime 33 days holiday including BHs.
