Seaway7 is a global leader in the delivery of offshore wind farm projects, supporting developers to bring sustainable, renewable energy to the world through the construction of fixed offshore wind farms. We are a global company with offices in Norway, UK, Germany, Denmark, Taiwan and the Netherlands. We employ more than 800 people onshore, and an offshore workforce of around 400.
This summer, we are offering motivated engineering students the chance to join us for an 8-12 week paid internship at our Westhill, Aberdeen office, providing you with the chance to gain hands-on experience in the offshore renewables industry.
We welcome applications from 2nd, 3rd or 4th year students studying one of the below courses (or similar):
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil / Structural Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Naval Architecture
- Subsea Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering

What will you be doing?
- The opportunity to work alongside our multi-disciplinary engineering teams, gaining insight into our cutting-edge engineering solutions on offshore foundation and cable installation projects.
- A chance to develop both your technical and non-technical skills through real-world applications.
- Networking opportunities with experts in the field, providing invaluable insights into your future career.
- Previous interns have also been able to visit offshore vessels, workshops, join training sessions and see our equipment and assets first hand.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Currently enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of an Engineering Degree in one of the specified disciplines.
- A passion for the offshore energy sector and a desire to learn and contribute to our team.
- Available to work for 8-12 weeks between June and September.
