With the increased demand for water meters from our customers, we are seeking dedicated and skilled Water Meter Installers to join our team. Working with our amazing Metering Team you will be responsible for the installation of smart water meters inside our customers' properties. You will be an ambassador for our brand providing an unrivalled Customer Service, responsible for providing appropriate communication and guidance to customers on the installation process, water usage and getting the most from their smart meters.
This role requires a competent person with attention to detail and core plumbing skills. Despite being a remote worker, you won't be alone. You'll be a key player in a team that thrives on collaboration, with regular face-to-face team meetings that foster a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You will also have the support of our Technical Managers who are always there to come out and offer a helping hand or assistance. No day is the same, and you'll be given endless opportunities to shine. Health and Safety is important to us too, which means you will ensure that all health and safety checks are carried out before undertaking any work.
Responsibilities- Install new water meters according to specifications and regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing water meters.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent service during installations.
You’ll be provided with a company van and all the tools and PPE to be successful in the role.
About youWe’re looking for you to have recently passed your plumbing qualifications and to be passionate about delivering a great customer experience to our customers.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent
- Basic understanding of IT systems and use of apps
- Customer Service Skills/Experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work on your own.
- A valid Full UK Manual driving licence required for travel between job sites.
