As a Technical Planner within NOV's UK Aftermarket Repair Group, you will take ownership of project planning from work order release to completion. You'll ensure repairs are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with stringent quality standards and NOV specifications. This is a vital role interfacing across operations, engineering, procurement, and customer support to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Routers, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
- Prepare and manage work packs and schedule project kick-off meetings
- Track project milestones and costs, identifying and resolving delays or issues
- Support technicians and leads with technical documentation and queries
- Manage job BOMs, ERP system updates, and pick ticket submissions
- Collaborate with schedulers and engineers to maintain production efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement and support internal audits and process reviews
- Act as liaison with vendors, suppliers, and customer representatives
- Collect and compile data for final project documentation and billing
Who We're Looking For

- Essential: Experience in a technical planning or repair operations role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and documentation control
- Desirable: Background in the Oil & Gas industry
- HNC/HND or Level 3 business-related qualification
