This position reports to the Head of External Communications - Process Automation.
Your role and responsibilities:
- As the Social Media Channel and Content Manager for ABB Process Automation business area, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media initiatives to enhance the online presence and strengthen the position of ABB Process Automation as a leader in automation, electrification, and digitalization.
- This role will be key in driving the business area’s social media initiatives, ensuring impact, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
- You will actively manage the ABB Process Automation business area social media channels, including LinkedIn and YouTube, as well as evaluate the need for additional platforms.
- You will design, execute, and optimize social media content and campaigns in collaboration with agencies and internal teams, leveraging both paid and organic opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, oversee, and implement social media content programs for ABB Process Automation, ensuring alignment with ABB Group social media guidelines.
- Produce, manage, optimize, and curate content on ABB Process Automation's social media channels, including LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Continuously assess the potential of additional platforms and establish and manage new channels as necessary to enhance social media presence and influence.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Technology team on social media technology and tools.
- Utilize relevant tools to schedule and manage posts across multiple platforms.
- In collaboration with content creators, design, execute, and manage social media campaigns to drive engagement and growth.
- Deploy both paid and organic social media tactics to maximize reach and effectiveness, managing relevant supplier relationships and budgets.
- Develop and establish best practices on impactful social media content creation and distribution, providing expert guidance and support to colleagues in Divisions.
- Conduct training sessions for team members on relevant best practices.
- Be hands-on with social media management and keep up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices for key platforms to drive success.
- Continuously analyze social media performance metrics for business area content and adjust tactics as needed to improve results.
- Proactively implement SEO tactics across social media channels to enhance content visibility and improve search rankings.
Qualifications for the role:
- To be successful in this role, you bring a strong academic foundation with a Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, marketing, social media, or a related field.
- You have a proven track record in managing social media, including hands-on experience in content creation and analyzing performance data to optimize strategy.

- As a native English speaker, you communicate with clarity and precision.
