Responsibilities
- Delivery of projects on schedule, within budget and to the defined specification.
- Work to company Project Management guidelines, processes and procedures, professionally managing all project work and continually seeking improvements.
- Demonstrate best practice in Project Management, establishing a high level of management capability within the team and contributing to winning work from clients.
- Maintain benchmark performance criteria and demonstrate continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the region business lines to ensure a smooth transition from equipment delivery to operational readiness.
- Be the focal point for client contact.
- Drive value by optimizing engineering and supply chain activities.
- Provide support for regional business development in conjunction with the Subsea Product Line Sales Department.
- Ensure accurate and timely project monthly status reporting (both internal and external).
Job Knowledge And Qualifications
- Proven project management experience ideally within the oil & gas industry.
- Possess or be working towards a formal project management qualification.
- Possess the experience and ability to take full ownership of allocated subsea projects, manage project teams (including sub-contract staff) to deliver the scope and professionally develop subordinates.
- Previous experience in managing budgets and making decisions regarding scheduling and prioritisation of activities, with the ability to coordinate the work effort of internal and external resources.
- Results oriented with strong personal initiative and the ability to see opportunities and solutions.
