AtkinsRéalis Project Delivery Practice (PDP) combines project management and design management to serve clients in the public and private sectors. We seek an enthusiastic and confident Project Manager for our North, Scotland, and Northern Ireland practice, based in Belfast. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, with flexibility to work from home and various locations due to our agile practices.
Our growth in sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Water, Local Authority, Rail, and Aviation drives our need for talented project managers. You should have several years of multidisciplinary project delivery experience, preferably within a consultancy and with some water industry exposure. You will be responsible for delivering projects within budget and schedule, acting as the main client contact.
Minimum Requirements- Background in Project Management, Engineering, Building Surveying, or Architecture with relevant experience.
- Experience managing projects through RIBA Stages 0-7 or equivalent.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, strong client-facing skills, and leadership qualities.
- Business acumen, risk awareness, and experience managing procurement processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and understanding of BIM.
- Proactive attitude, decision-making ability, and a valid driving license.
- Manage project delivery from start to finish, ensuring clear understanding of scope, schedule, and costs.
- Lead and develop project teams, motivate and coach team members.
- Maintain communication with clients, manage budgets, and oversee risk and change control.
- Manage procurement, monitor performance, and report on project progress.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure quality standards are met.
