Job Description

We have exciting opportunities for Project Directors to join our expanding team. Following significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, we are looking for high‑calibre leaders to support our clients in delivering a wide range of high‑profile infrastructure projects, be an industry leader, directly contribute to the growth of the business and help mentor and develop the next generation of Project Managers.

As a member of our growing team, you will be based in our London office and likely spend your time with colleagues and client teams across London and the South‑East region. Dependant on client requirements, the majority of our roles support a hybrid working pattern. In return there is ample opportunity to thrive, own your career and reach your potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Significant experience managing multiple disciplines, teams, advisors and clients on high‑value, complex, politically challenging infrastructure projects/programmes across the lifecycle.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, setting high standards and managing performance against these, utilising people and resources efficiently to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead health, safety and wellbeing of the team, with practical understanding of CDM and duty‑holder responsibilities.
  • Shape the future vision and direction of the business, driving innovation and sustainability in parallel.
  • Continuously improve and transform our offering, encouraging calculated risk‑taking and leadership influence.
  • Promote inclusive teamwork, building and fostering trust and a ‘one business’ collaboration mindset across T&T, clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop client and industry partnerships, transforming performance together and applying trend insights.
  • Coach and mentor others, nurturing emerging potential and building a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Build long‑term trusted advisor relationships with clients, challenging inappropriate behaviour when necessary.
  • Act as a role model for creativity, growth mindset, diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Project management certification (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, ChPP).
  • Professional affiliation with APM, ICE or an equivalent institution.
  • Experience with complex procurement and NEC or other contract forms.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants and advisors on infrastructure projects in varying sectors.
  • Familiarity with public sector organisations and sustainability application in projects.
  • Degree‑level qualification in management, construction or infrastructure‑related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • CSCS or equivalent safety qualification.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments.
  • Soft skills and leadership certification.
