Where will you be working?
The Procurement function is undergoing an exciting transformation journey, deploying best in class processes, ensuring an innovative, reliable and cost-efficient supply chain that can grow with M Group to support delivery of our strategy. The Procurement PMO plays a key role in the Procurement Reporting, Governance & Control team, driving performance through high-quality reporting and governance. Acting as the central hub for project tracking, reporting, and process improvement, the role ensures all procurement activities meet corporate objectives, compliance standards, and best practices. It also facilitates governance forums, delivers performance reports, and supports senior leadership with programme oversight. This role can be conducted remotely, with travel to Stevenage required 2-4 times a month with additional travel to meet stakeholders and suppliers as required.
What will you be doing?
- You will be overseeing procurement initiatives, benefits reporting, and data accuracy.
- You will be organising governance forums, preparing materials, and tracking actions.
- You will deliver monthly reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior leaders.
- You will coordinate team meetings, presentations, and training schedules.
- You will maintain procurement documentation, databases, and governance timelines.
- You will support procurement transformation projects and supplier events.
- You will drive process improvements and enhance ways of working.
What you\’ll bring
You will be confident working with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and possess strong analytical skills that enable you to interpret complex information and present it clearly to diverse audiences. Skilled in engaging with stakeholders across multiple divisions, you will be an effective communicator and a collaborative team player who can build strong working relationships at all levels.
With knowledge of project management, PMO practices, and change management, you will bring a continuous improvement mindset, focused on achieving procurement excellence. You will be a confident presenter, comfortable influencing stakeholders, and a proactive problem-solver who is not afraid to challenge the status quo. As a self-starter, you thrive in environments of ambiguity and complexity. While procurement experience and functional knowledge are desirable, your ability to deliver results, drive improvement, and adapt to changing priorities will be key to your success in this role.
