NES Fircroft are currently recruiting experienced Instrument Technicians to join our clients growing offshore teams on behalf of a leading Oil & Gas Operator.

These are excellent long-term core positions supporting multiple offshore assets. You may be part of the fixed assets, Walk-to-Work (W2W) or Flying Squad teams, providing essential coverage and support to the existing offshore workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot offshore instrumentation systems.
  • Carry out routine inspections, calibrations, and repairs to ensure equipment integrity.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Provide technical support to offshore operations, ensuring optimal performance of instrumentation systems.

Requirements:

  • Valid CompEx certification (minimum EX01–EX04).
  • In-date offshore certifications, including:
  • MIST
  • BOSIET (with CA-EBS)
  • OGUK Medical (unrestricted)
  • Proven recent experience in a similar offshore Instrument Technician role.
  • Strong understanding of HSE requirements and procedures.
  • Must currently be residing in the UK and eligible to work
