What You Will Do

Johnson Controls offers the largest portfolio of equipment, controls, and services for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and security systems.

As an Installation Engineer , you will be responsible for installing split, multi-split, VRV / VRF, DX systems at customer sites. You will maintain relationships with clients, requiring good self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills, providing guidance and assistance to meet customer needs.

You will attend various client sites, support multiple projects, and carry out installation and commissioning of air-conditioning units and commercial refrigeration systems.

How You Will Do It

You will be part of the VRF Installation Team, accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and professionally.

You must adhere to all company and legal requirements, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Health & Safety compliance is essential.

Your responsibilities include installing HVAC equipment and pipework on customer sites within set timeframes and following defined processes. Due to the nature of the role, working away from home will be necessary.

Essential – What We Look For

  • Proven experience in full installation of HVAC systems including pipework, bracketry, and cabling
  • F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
  • Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale
  • Knowledge of DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant
  • Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as electrical and piping diagrams
  • A full UK driving license
  • IT skills, including recording details in LD-Control platform (iPad)
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Teamwork skills
