GEOZONE FP&A CONTROLLER Altens, Aberdeen The Geozone FP&A Controller role is one that supports the leadership team in day-to-day business management, provide analysis and support in decision-making in all matter operationally, financially and strategic. Role & Responsibilities: SAFETY & COMPLIANCE Maintains safety and service quality as a first priority when working across all areas of the business. Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activity is carried out ethically and in compliance with Company policies, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices. PROCESS EXCELLENCE Business partner and financial support to Geozone Controller and leadership team. Review and consolidation of routine financial and ad hoc reporting as required. Prepare monthly corporate finance review presentation. Coordinating and directing Geozones in: Preparation of the budget, forecast, reporting and variance requirements Other Corporate/Geozone Operations requirements, deliverables and timelines Required implementation of Geozone Operations new finance processes or changes, strategic plans and projects Provide Geozone feedback to Corporate. Creating financial models/reports to track KPIs and project performance as required. Monitor day to day business and alert leadership team of any potential risk or issues. Review underperforming product lines and countries. Communication and liaison between Corporate/Leadership team and Geozones finance. Assist with finance team development and training as required. Support corporate month, quarter, and year-end close process. Perform ad hoc analysis and problem solving/finding root cause of issue as required. PEOPLE Ability to closely collaborate and build strong relationships with different functions within the organization. Skills & Knowledge: Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills at both a strategic and functional level. Technical skills and experience in financial reporting and analysis. High degree of integrity, work ethic and intellectual curiosity. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and desire to work in a team environment. In-depth knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, JD Edwards, HFM experience preferred. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines across multiple projects. Ability to work and interact with personnel at all levels within the organization. Education & Experience: BA or BS in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 5+ years accounting experience.
