I am supporting one of our engineering consultancy clients in their search for Electrical Design Engineers to join their Building Services teams in Manchester. This client isn’t your typical consultancy; they are innovators who have collaborated with the industry for over 25 years, delivering leading engineering solutions that have real impact. This is a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy detailed technical design and want to progress within a supportive and collaborative team environment and the opportunity for you to make a real impact!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support engineers in the design of electrical systems including power and lighting, data, security, and energy management.
- Deliver RIBA Stage 4-5 construction-level design packages through tools and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux.
- Produce detailed designs, specifications, and calculations to support client work.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and projects by supporting with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams.
- Lead projects and develop your skills in technical delivery and project coordination.
- Support with client interactions and ensure projects meet the clients' demand and exceed expectations.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven background in electrical building services
- Proven RIBA Stage 4-5 design delivery within the UK
- Degree or Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux)
- Beneficial if you are working towards Chartership (the company will support you in this)
