We are seeking a dedicated
Chair to lead our committee in shaping the future of the fund, ensuring its effective governance, and promoting its mission to support those in need.

The Chair will provide strategic leadership, uphold the fund’s governance, and act as its ambassador.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the committee in the efficient and effective management of the fund, ensuring compliance with governance documents.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the Benevolent Fund, promoting its work and engaging with stakeholders.
- Report annually to the
EI Council on the fund’s activities, impact, and financial stewardship.
- Oversee decision‑making on welfare and educational assistance applications.
- Work closely with the
Secretary and EI staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and transparent committee culture.
- Ideal Candidate
- Strong leadership and governance experience, ideally within charitable or member‑support organisations.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills to represent the fund.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to guide the fund’s long‑term development.
- Empathy and discretion in handling sensitive cases.
- Willingness to dedicate
