Energy Impact Partners (EIP) is a global investment platform leading the transition to a sustainable energy future. With over $4.5 billion in assets under management, EIP invests globally across venture, growth, and credit. EIP is seeking an Associate for the Flagship Investment team in Europe targeting venture- and growth-stage businesses. This position is a great entry point for a career in venture capital and an opportunity to work closely with leading investors and entrepreneurs throughout all phases of the investment process. This position is based in London, UK.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Identifying attractive investment themes and sourcing prospective investments
- Conducting extensive due diligence on potential investments, including in-depth financial modeling
- Researching key market trends and dynamics
- Developing internal investment committee presentation materials
- Providing ongoing portfolio support, monitoring, analysis, and administration
Requirements
- 1–3 years of work experience in a relevant field (e.g., investment banking, equity research, strategy consulting, private equity or venture capital)
- Demonstrable commitment to climate change and the climate tech ecosystem
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- History of strong academic performance with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Excellent financial and analytical skills
- Self-starter, intellectually curious, and strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude, team player, open-minded and not ego-driven
- Strong interpersonal skills
