About position

As Vice President of Sales (EMEA), you will lead Energy Exemplar’s regional new business acquisition strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Reporting to the SVP EMEA, your primary mandate is to drive new logo growth, expand market share, and build a high-performance hunting organisation that consistently delivers against ambitious revenue targets.

You will own the top-of-funnel through close for new customers, with a relentless focus on pipeline generation, deal conversion, and market penetration. Leading a team of high-performing new business sales professionals, you will partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Demand Generation, Solution Engineering, and GTM Operations to create a scalable, predictable new logo engine. This is a high-impact leadership role where success is measured by new customer acquisition, pipeline strength, and revenue acceleration from net-new accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver all new business sales across EMEA, with full accountability for pipeline creation, progression, and conversion.
  • Define and execute a new logo-focused GTM strategy, including segmentation and territory design.
  • Build and scale an outbound-led pipeline engine in partnership with Marketing.
  • Lead complex enterprise deals from prospecting through close.
  • Recruit and lead a high-performance, hunter-focused sales team.
  • Drive accurate forecasting and strong pipeline discipline.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Identify and penetrate new markets and accounts.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience & Expertise

  • Extensive enterprise new business sales experience in energy, software, or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of winning new logos.
  • Experience executing outbound GTM strategies.
  • Strong understanding of EMEA energy markets.

Leadership & Management

  • Experience building high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership in fast-paced environments.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience.

Strategic Thinking & Execution

  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically.
  • Data-driven pipeline and forecasting approach.
  • Experience influencing GTM strategy.

Communication & Influence

  • Strong executive communication skills.
  • Experience engaging C-level stakeholders.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel across EMEA.
  • Based in the UK or near key markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
