About the Position

Reporting to the Global Field Marketing Manager, the Field Marketing Manager – Americas, is part of the Global Marketing team and is responsible for delivering both virtual and in-person regional events and field marketing initiatives for Energy Exemplar and its clients. This role will own event logistics (venue management, event production, food and beverage, virtual platforms, and content) while ensuring that every program is designed to maximize ROI, contribute to pipeline creation, and accelerate revenue generation. Partnering closely with key internal stakeholders and external vendors, the Field Marketing Manager will ensure events and campaigns are executed seamlessly while consistently measuring and reporting on business impact.

Beyond events, the role supports broader field marketing activities such as regional campaigns, local brand activation, and market outreach programs all with the clear objective of driving demand, strengthening customer engagement, and delivering measurable revenue outcomes. The ideal candidate brings meticulous project management skills, a solutions-driven and data-focused mindset, and the ability to uphold the company’s mission and vision while aligning every marketing initiative to commercial growth goals.

This position works closely and collaboratively with all Energy Exemplar staff but in particular:

  • Global Field Marketing Manager

Key Accountabilities and Duties

The following list sets an expectation of the \’core\’ responsibilities of the role but is not exhaustive. As a rapidly growing business, the role and associated tasks will likely evolve over time, and there will be situations where tasks not listed below will need to be undertaken to support region and business growth initiatives.

Prep:

  • Develop a complete understanding of the requirements and revenue goals for every event and marketing initiative.
  • Build & maintain a regional events and marketing calendar with input from Solutions & Sales teams, in partnership with the Regional SVP, with clear pipeline contribution targets.
  • Define, develop, implement & execute all aspects of marketing events, trade show processes, and field marketing activities including (but not limited to) logistics, registration, speaker management, catering, and accommodation.
  • Drive the development and execution of regional go-to-market strategies in alignment with sales leadership and global marketing goals to support pipeline creation and revenue growth.
  • Own the regional marketing budget, including quarterly forecasting and reallocation to optimize ROI across channels and campaigns.

Design:

  • Research vendors and make selections based on creativity, quality, cost, and ability to support pipeline-driving goals.
  • Develop & maintain the event and marketing budget, ensuring expenses do not exceed approved levels while maximizing revenue outcomes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Solutions) to ensure alignment with regional growth targets and communicate requirements, timelines, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and run-of-show for each initiative, with clear revenue and pipeline KPIs tied to outcomes.
  • Prepare and manage event materials including signage, registration, and promotional assets.
  • Create social media content to publicize events and marketing initiatives, driving awareness, attendee engagement, and lead generation.
  • Manage tradeshow vendors in the development of booth design & graphics, ensuring alignment with brand and demand-generation objectives.
  • Finalize venue contracts, AV requirements, and day-of logistics with pipeline impact as a key success measure.
  • Manage event registration, including target audience tracking to ensure ROI on pipeline goals.
  • Assist in executing local market outreach programs designed to accelerate revenue opportunities.

Execute:

  • Handle day-to-day administration of events, programs, and field marketing activities (vendor management, travel, RSVPs, order placement, etc.) with a focus on delivering revenue outcomes.
  • Attend events and act as the on-site lead for internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring flawless execution and alignment to pipeline goals.
  • Analyze event and marketing performance, including pipeline generation and revenue attribution, and suggest methods to improve ROI.
  • Ensure all leads and pipeline generation from events are logged in CRM and tied back to revenue outcomes.
  • Create close-out reports including ROI and revenue attribution for executive leadership.
  • Own regional marketing KPIs, analyze pipeline performance, and optimize future campaigns based on data-driven insights.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in event planning, event coordination, and field marketing with a track record of delivering measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Prior experience working with colleagues in graphic design, sales, marketing, and communications.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple revenue-impacting projects simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented drive and strong commercial mindset, with a focus on pipeline creation and revenue contribution.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
  • Established relationships with vendors that can support scalable revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Experience in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting ROI against pipeline goals.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
  • Self-motivated and highly collaborative.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Acrobat, Excel, Cvent (or other event platforms), and HubSpot (or similar CRM).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in hospitality management, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in events management and or regional marketing.

The pay range for this position is between $60,000-83,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
