Role & responsibilities
Our Engineering Apprenticeship is a scheme which requires analytical skills, a logical mind, numeracy, communication skills, teamwork, good manual dexterity, problem solving skills and the ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions.We’ll value your commitment and enthusiasm, whilst offering ongoing support throughout your journey.
What You’ll Get in Return?
In this 3-year apprenticeship, you will study for a Level 3 Engineering Fitter apprenticeship in partnership with Farnborough College of Technology.
How will you study?
- Year 1- you would be based four days at college and one day at work
- Year 2- you would have two days in college and three days at work
- Year 3- you would then have one day college and four days at work
Essential requirements
Please ensure you have achieved or are predicted these grades or above as these are the minimum requirements to join this apprenticeship. Failure to meet these grades could mean you are not eligible to join the programme.
To apply, you must have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of 5 GCSEs, at least Grade C / 4 or above, to include Mathematics, English Language and Science (BTEC in Science will also be considered).
Desired requirements
B / 6 (or above) in GCSE Mathematics or a recognised engineering/technology qualification such as BTEC Level 2 Engineering or City and Guilds Level 2 Engineering would be advantageous.
