Job Description

Roles Summary/Purpose:

Reporting to the gate 2 production cell leader in the component repair blending area. The ability to blend defects from precision aircraft engine components for engine overhaul, assembly, and test. Work unsupervised while maintaining a safe working environment and producing high quality components.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise equipment and tools to perform various tasks including hand and power blending of engine components.

  • Etching reworked areas of engine components.

  • Vibratory cleaning of engine components.

  • Use of measuring equipment and be able to inspect engine components.

  • Precise attention to detail and a high level of concentration.

  • Good manual dexterity.

  • PC work including working with OEM manuals.

  • Flexible and willing to move within other Gate 2 semi-skilled processes as required by the business requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience of blending operations desired.

  • Ability to work on own or as part as a team

Desired Characteristics:
