Role Overview
You’ll be given high levels of autonomy and be responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with customers and providers, ensuring compliance and driving new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining key relationships with connection customers, interacting at all levels to ensure the continued progression of these strategic relationships
- Managing customer interactions with Utility Infrastructure Providers (UIPs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in the asset value and network adoption processes
- Ensuring technical, legal, and regulatory compliance is maintained across all projects and initiatives
- Promoting, selling, and developing opportunities for all products and services offered by Energy Assets Networks
- Maintaining existing relationships and assisting UIPs and ICPs and associated customers
- Identifying and delivering new business opportunities, formulating and implementing delivery models in line with the Group’s sales strategy
- Implementing and reviewing B2B interactions to ensure effective operation against both internal and external service levels
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in an account management or business development role, preferably within the utility sector
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet business targets
- Outstanding communication skills, with an emphasis on keeping customers updated on project progress and ongoing issues
- Must possess a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel extensively throughout the UK
