Energy Aspects has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Technology team. The role involves acting as an operational extension of the Head of Technology, responsible for executing critical technology and business initiatives.
This position is key in coordinating and executing complex projects, including engineering delivery, M&A activity, enterprise software solutions, and addressing various technology challenges beyond the immediate focus of the Head of Technology.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, quickly understanding technical and business contexts, and translating strategic goals into actionable projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Technology and executive leadership to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle: scoping, prioritization, planning, reporting, and finalization.
- Serve as the primary contact for projects or issues outside the immediate focus of the Head of Technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex technology projects from start to finish with clear oversight and reporting.
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and incorporate them into strategic planning.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with executive leadership.
- Experience in fast-paced, scaling technology or data-centric companies.
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Linear) and collaboration platforms, including MS Office.
- Knowledge of modern software development lifecycles and project management methodologies.
- Practical experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Retool, Zapier) or Python.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in technology or data-focused M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
- Familiarity with AI tools, especially managing projects that leverage AI solutions.
- Experience with enterprise software lifecycle: assessment, procurement, deployment, and change management.
- Interest or background in energy markets, data analytics, or intelligence sectors.
