We are seeking an accomplished Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in this pivotel role supporting our vital Global Research division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Senior Directors in Research and their Senior Leadership team to align HR strategies with the broader organisation strategy whilst providing both strategic and operational HR support across the division, specifically focusing on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, high performance, employee engagement and talent development.
  • Work with the wider People team and relevant stakeholders to spearhead people programmes and strategies that enhance culture—performance, management, compensation, talent development, feedback, employee engagement & retention, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with leaders and managers in the Research division to gauge employee and management pulse; manage complex employee relations and the organisation's talent needs.
  • Coach and develop line managers, building their skills and confidence to lead their people.
  • Provide guidance and support in workplace crises or conflicts, ensuring resolution that safeguards both the organisation and its employees.
  • Facilitate and guide the Research department through organisational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Work closely with Finance and Talent Acquisition to maintain an accurate workforce plan for forecasting and cost modelling.
  • Analyse workforce trends and collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate future employment needs.
  • Use HR metrics to make data‑driven decisions and demonstrate ROI of HR initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and minimise non‑compliance risks.
  • Champion key HR domains such as talent management, performance evaluation, employee engagement, compensation strategy and other HR‑driven initiatives.
  • Develop and roll out programmes to meet employee needs and drive high levels of engagement, fostering an inclusive and productive collaboration environment.
  • Advocate for and implement diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Act as the go‑to HR touchpoint for all employees, elucidating HR strategies, practices and methodologies.
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to manage communication and execution of all employee reward, recognition, appraisals, wellness, retirement and other discretionary benefits.
  • With Talent Acquisition, drive recruitment efforts to consistently attract, nurture and elevate the talent pool.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to ensure continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Deliver comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle and contribute to broader HR projects.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Substantial experience operating as a Global HRBP, preferably in a rapidly growing SME.
  • Proven ability to improve processes, build relationships and help the business continuously improve.
  • Expertise in people/HR policies & procedures, with a track record of prioritising, defining, developing and rolling out scalable HR solutions.
  • Fully developed coaching, conflict‑management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
  • Reputation for integrity, a dedicated work ethic and ownership & accountability.
  • Prior experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment; research, consultancy or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with data and analytics and working with technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of global employment laws, customs and practices.
