Energy Aspects is looking for a Senior European Gas Analyst to join its industryâleading gas and power research team. In this role you will manage the full cycle of research, from analysing price and supplyâdemand relationships to building sophisticated models and compiling unique data sets. You will communicate Energy Aspects' views to clients through written reports, visuals, published data sets, and presentations to clients, prospects, and the media, both in person and online.
We expect you to continuously develop our product offering, improve internal processes, and identify useful data sources. Every analyst at Energy Aspects is encouraged to grow their professional reputation and forge relationships with the market. Strong collaboration and communication skills are a must; experience managing others would be useful. Flexibility and the drive to go beyond core hours when needed are required.
Key Responsibilities- Research the European gas market to maintain and improve our inâhouse supplyâdemand and pricing models.
- Build relationships with the market to gain insights.
- Write reports and create presentation materials to convey our views to clients.
- Present Energy Aspects' views to clients and the media.
- Work closely with other team members to align forecasts and senseâcheck work.
- Proven experience as a gas analyst with a strong understanding of the European gas market.
- Strong technical competence (Excel, statistical forecasting) and the ability to build and maintain complex supplyâdemand models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
