We are seeking a dynamic and driven Environmental Products Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for key Energy Aspects environmental products, including Emissions, Biofuels, Offsets, and Methanol research and data offerings. The successful candidate will focus on supporting both new client development (NCD) and cross‑sell opportunities into existing clients, with an initial focus on:
- Environmental products trading desks at hedge funds and commodity trading houses
- Industrial clients with a need to trade and understand carbon markets
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients, showcasing the value and capabilities of EA’s environmental product suite.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within both new and existing client accounts, with a particular focus on hedge funds, commodity trading houses, and industrial clients.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and refine commercial collateral, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and market needs.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Research, to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions and to support cross‑team sales initiatives.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the Head of Global Strategic Sales on pipeline development, client feedback, and market opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the financial services, energy, or environmental sectors.
- Demonstrable success in developing new business and managing complex sales cycles.
- Experience selling into hedge funds, commodity trading houses, industrial clients, is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience working cross‑functionally and across teams in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with carbon markets, emissions, biofuels, offsets, methanol, or related data analytics products.
