We are seeking an accomplished Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in this pivotal role supporting our vital Global Research division. We are looking for someone eager to make their mark as we continue our rapid expansion journey.
In this critical role, you will foster strong relationships across the diverse Global Research team and support their full range of HR needs. You should have the capability to deputise for the Director of People and potentially succeed them in the future. Therefore, we require a world‑class Global HRBP who can build fantastic rapport with the business and be seen as a true HR expert.
To excel in this position, you will be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success. As such you will need to be flexible, adaptable and composed under pressure. You will employ empathy, organisation, and communication skills to foster fantastic relationships with the business area.

Key ResponsibilitiesYou'll be working directly with our Senior Directors in Research and their Senior Leadership team to align HR strategies with the broader organisation strategy whilst providing both strategic and operational HR support to leaders across the division, specifically focusing on:
- Organisational effectiveness
- Leadership capability
- Driving high performance and employee engagement
- Future-proofing the organisation from a talent development perspective
Your day‑to‑day role will include:
- Working with the wider People team and relevant stakeholders to help spearhead people programs and strategies that enhance our culture.
- Collaborating with leaders and managers in the Research division to gauge employee and management pulse; managing complex employee relations and their talent needs.
- Coaching and developing line managers, building their skills and confidence to successfully lead their people.
- Providing guidance and support in case of workplace crises or conflicts, ensuring they’re resolved in a way that safeguards both the organisation and its employees.
- Facilitating and guiding the Research department through organisational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimising disruptions.
- Working closely with Finance and Talent Acquisition to ensure the business has an accurate workforce plan that is up to date.
- Analysing workforce trends and collaborating with hiring managers to anticipate future employment needs.
- Using HR metrics to make data‑driven decisions and demonstrate the ROI of HR initiatives.
- Ensuring the company is compliant with employment regulations and minimising risks associated with non‑compliance.
- Championing key HR domains such as talent management, performance evaluation, employee engagement, compensation strategy, and other HR‑driven initiatives.
- Developing and rolling out various programs to meet employee needs and drive high levels of employee engagement.
- Advocating for and implementing initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company.
- Acting as the go‑to HR touchpoint for all employees, elucidating HR strategies, practices, and methodologies.
- Partnering with key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to promote and manage the communication and execution of all employee reward, recognition, appraisals, wellness, retirement, and other discretionary benefits.
- Driving overall recruitment efforts ensuring we consistently attract, nurture, and elevate our talent pool.
- Collaborating with the Learning & Development team, ensuring continuous learning and professional growth for our staff.
- Delivering comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, while also contributing to broader HR projects.
Substantial experience operating as a Global HRBP preferably in a rapidly growing SME. Proven desire and ability to improve processes, build relationships, and help the business constantly improve. Expertise in people/HR policies & procedures - and a track record of prioritising, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable HR solutions that address the needs of the business. Fully developed coaching, conflict management and problem‑solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with ever‑changing priorities. Reputation for integrity, dedicated work ethic, and desire for ownership & accountability. Prior experience working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment; research, consultancy or financial services experience is a plus. Demonstrated experience with data and analytics and working with technical teams. Deep understanding of Global employment laws, customs, and practices.
