Key Responsibilities
  • Implement quantitative models and analytical tools in Python, working from briefs provided by senior team members.
  • Collaborate with quant strategists across energy, options, metals, and macro to support live research projects.
  • Communicate findings clearly, both in written outputs and in team discussions.
  • Monitor and develop an understanding of commodity derivative markets, with a particular focus on financial participants and positioning dynamics.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Currently studying towards a final year undergraduate degree or a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance).
  • Strong Python programming skills, with experience in data analysis and visualisation.
