Position Summary:

Responsible for all aspects of Finance Controllership function – monthly financial reporting, product costs update and analysis, overheads; external/internal audit and internal controls over fixed assets, inventory and production materials in Washington Plant UK. Act as a strategic partner to plant leadership by supporting development of ABP/forecast/cost roadmaps to meet product cost commitments and providing insightful analysis of actual performance vs plan to improve plant performance. Implement/support process improvements, standardization initiatives, M&A related activities (e.g. integration) and any global projects as defined by Global Operations Control (GOC) and Global Finance & Controllership teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations including cost accounting, financial closing and reporting, internal control and Sarbanes‐Oxley compliance, tax, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, and related activities.
  • Manage month‐end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site under US GAAP.
  • Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets in the scheduled deadlines with accuracy and punctuality to deliver high quality standards of data in line with all relevant reporting standards and accounting guidelines.
  • Capex controlling.
  • Implement new controlling tools and seek continuous improvement and use of best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors (where required) to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • All ad‐hoc management accounting and controlling exercises required by the business.
  • Actively manage the career development of direct reports, review performance, and provide coaching to enhance performance.
