Shape how civil engineering is delivered across complex power and renewables projects. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of civil engineering across a growing Power & Renewables business. You’ll influence projects from tender and pre-construction through design, construction and handover, helping shape solutions before they become problems and setting the standards teams work to across multiple projects. You’ll have the scope to influence how civil engineering is done, not simply oversee its delivery.
What you’ll influence:
- From the outset, you’ll provide civil leadership across tenders, working with electrical and commercial teams to develop practical, commercially sound solutions and identify risks around ground conditions, flooding, utilities and environmental factors.
- Across live projects, you’ll provide technical direction, oversee design consultants and support teams through complex decisions, scope changes and delivery challenges.
- You’ll also lead and develop the civil engineering team, improving consistency, sharing learning between projects and creating a collaborative, accountable way of working.
What you’ll bring:
- You’ll have strong civil engineering experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy or a related environment, along with experience leading teams and influencing project delivery.
- You’ll understand the full project lifecycle and be comfortable balancing engineering quality with cost, programme, risk and constructability.
- Whether you’re an experienced Civil Engineering Manager looking for greater scope or already operating at senior level with the experience to take wider ownership, you’ll have the judgement and technical credibility to influence decisions at both strategic and project level.
Why consider it?
The opportunity is the breadth of influence. You’ll be shaping civil engineering across multiple projects, working across disciplines and helping build better ways of delivering complex infrastructure. If you want your experience to have an impact beyond a single project, this is a role worth exploring.
