We are seeking a Fleet Administrator to cover a period of maternity leave. This role supports the Fleet function within our business with a fleet of cars, vans and some HGVs within the wider group. This role will cover all aspects of fleet administration, including updating the fleet database of vehicles and current drivers, updating the Motor Industry Database (MID), assisting with booking of service and MOT visits, and recording and administering motor incidents. The position will be the main fleet point of contact for drivers in the field.
Duties
- Maintain effective fleet administration information, records, and systems in line with company requirements and procedures.
- Update fleet database, vehicles, drivers, VOR, defects, incidents.
- Raise purchase orders required to support the fleet.
- Assist with booking of service and MOT dates as required.
- Update Insurance Database add/remove vehicles.
- Assist with admin of driver database licence checks, e-learning.
- Point of contact for reporting defects, accidents, and fleet queries.
- Ordering and administration of fuel cards.
- Internal reporting as required for all fleet related issues and actions.
- Monitor and investigate fleet fines taking and recommending appropriate action.
- Manage all Toll and Congestion charge accounts, making payments as required.
- Assist with arrangements for new starters and leavers of the business.
- All other general administrative tasks relating to fleet.
- Other tasks as and when required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Fleet related role.
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask a varied workload.
- Excellent customer service and a confident communicator.
- IT literate including Microsoft packages Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Confident in navigating multiple systems/databases.
What's in it for you?
- Salary £25,500.00.
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year to max. 25 days.
- 40 hours working week, office based, will consider flexible school hours working.
