Energis Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer on behalf of our client, a well-established engineering company based in Lisburn. With over 50 years of industry experience, our client provides innovative engineering solutions to customers across a range of manufacturing and logistics sectors. The company is recognised for its high level of technical expertise and customer support. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with a technical background to join a successful and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow sales revenue.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through market research, networking and industry engagement.
  • Maintain and update customer records and sales activity within the company database.
  • Develop pricing strategies and negotiate commercial agreements to secure profitable business.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, ensuring products and solutions meet their operational requirements.
  • Manage customer enquiries efficiently and deliver a high standard of service.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.

Criteria

  • Previous sales experience within an engineering, industrial or technical environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with customers.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Full UK driving licence.
