Our client is an innovative energy company, based in Belfast, who are passionate about renewable energy and advanced mobility solutions. They currently have an opportunity for an in-house solicitor to join their busy legal team. They are seeking an experienced Republic of Ireland qualified real-estate solicitor to gain unique experience and responsibility in a fast-paced in-house legal team.
The In-House Solicitor plays a vital role in helping the legal department function efficiently by providing Irish law real estate speciality and support. Responsibilities include:
- Managing a case load of real estate matters, including conducting legal due diligence, drafting, negotiation and completion of commercial property leases and licences.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and best practices in conveyancing.
- Instructing and working closely with external counsel.
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships through effective communication and timely updates.
- Reviewing, drafting and amending a range of commercial contracts, construction contracts, NDAs and internal policies.
- Providing ad hoc legal advice to the company as and when required.

Essential Criteria:
- Solicitor qualified in Republic of Ireland with a minimum of 2-5 years PQE (Northern Ireland qualification advantageous but not essential).
- Commercial Real Estate Experience.
- Proven experience handling own case load, seeking assistance where necessary and working to set deadlines and service levels.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Organised, methodical and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
