They are now seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support operational excellence initiatives, improve manufacturing efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across production processes. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor lean manufacturing strategies to improve productivity, minimise waste, and enhance product quality.
- Analyse production and machining data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing machining time, labour costs, scrap, and downtime.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to optimise manufacturing performance and equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
- Third level qualification (ideally degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (4-5+ years) in process / manufacturing engineering.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
