Senior Structural Engineer £55k + Bonus + Excellent Benefits On behalf of our client in Co Antrim, Energis is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to lead projects from concept through to completion while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the ongoing growth of the business.

Working across a diverse range of structural projects, you will play a key role in design, project management, client liaison and technical leadership.

Responsibilities Lead structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.

Produce structural calculations and designs in accordance with relevant codes and industry standards.

Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations and construction documentation.

Manage project programmes, budgets and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Liaise with clients, architects, designers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Review and approve work completed by junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

Review shop drawings and resolve technical queries during manufacture and construction.

Prepare and review technical reports, inspection reports and engineering proposals.

Identify opportunities for new business and support the preparation of project proposals.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes and documentation.

Criteria: Degree qualified engineer, with Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer status.

Minimum of five years' structural engineering experience.

Strong knowledge of structural design principles, relevant design codes and industry standards.

Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Proficient in structural analysis and design software.

Strong organisational, problem-solving and leadership abilities.
