The predicted salary is between 46000 - 52000 Β£ per year.
Our client is a busy local engineering business with a strong client base across the UK and Ireland. They are now seeking an additional Quantity Surveyor with a background in the steel or construction sector to join their South Down based team.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will work on a range of projects including multi-storey accommodation, retail, leisure, healthcare, pharmaceutical, warehousing, industrial buildings and production facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of interim payment valuations and the submission of the same to the client.
- Agreement of subcontractor packages and subsequent valuation of work elements for payment.
- Valuation of variations for plant, labour and materials.
- Preparation of quotations for variations and agreement of the same.
- Submission and agreement of final accounts.
- Management of retentions.
Criteria:
- Previous relevant experience within the construction / steel sectors.
- Knowledge of structural steel, supply and erection is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of metal decking and precast concrete installations also desirable.
Salary is in the region of Β£46-52k depending on experience.
