Job Description

With offices in County Antrim and Fermanagh, our client is a well established engineering business currently seeking a Plant Maintenance Coordinator / Administrator to join their growing team.

Working as part of a team you be involved in coordinating the maintenance and repair of plant across the business. The role will involve daily communication with plant maintenance providers, reporting & recording breakdowns and creating purchase orders for repairs.

The successful candidate can be based in either the Co Fermanagh or Co Antrim office. The role requires a strong communicator, training will be provided on specific equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting of plant breakdowns to various maintenance providers and coordinating the repair whilst in regular contact with the site team.
  • Recording of all breakdowns per machine using company software and Microsoft excel.
  • Ensuring that all plant repair schedules and inspections are carried out on time and any remedial repairs are coordinated and completed.
  • Creating Purchase Orders for repair costs & approval of corresponding supplier invoices.
  • Collating data for monthly reporting on plant profitability, utilisation, projection of expenditure.
  • Price checking of parts.
  • Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a role requiring strong customer service and communication skills
  • Well organised with the ability prioritise workload
  • Strong team player
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft excel
  • Previous construction or plant hire industry employment is highly desirable
  • Salary is in the region of £24.5-26k dependant upon experience.
