The successful Detailer will create accurate fabrication and assembly drawings, coordinating closely with engineering and design teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and material specifications. In house product specific training will be provide. Responsibilities: Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for structural steel components using Tekla Structures. Participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings using BIM tools. Have a basic knowledge of construction materials like timber, cladding, windows, and doors. Essential Criteria: Minimum of 1-2 years' previous experience as a Steel Detailer Proficient in 3D modelling software (preferably Tekla Structures); understanding of digital BOM export processes is beneficial. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, including structural steel types, bolting systems, welding practices, and finishes. Experience in continuous improvement initiatives Previous involvement in large-scale projects or high-volume manufacturing environments. Salary is in the region of £40k depending upon experience.
