The predicted salary is between 21 - 23 £ per hour.

Based near Belfast, our client supplies capital equipment and heavy plant to a range of clients across Northern Ireland. They are now looking to add an additional Field Service Engineer to their team. With a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, the successful Field Service Engineer will carry out routine maintenance and repair work on a range of heavy plant on client’s premises. Manufacturer’s specific training will be provided as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Travelling to client sites to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Conducting routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
  • Documenting service activities, including repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Responding promptly to service requests and resolving issues efficiently
  • Preparing machines for sale when required

Criteria:

  • Experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing heavy plant and/or access equipment
  • Customer focused and committed to delivering a high quality of service
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to resolve customer issues
  • Able to work using own initiative and organised
  • Flexible with the ability to respond well to change and pressure

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 4.30 pm

In return you will be offered an hourly rate of £21-23 /hr plus benefits including overtime, healthcare and pension. Holidays increase with length of service. Company van will be provided.
