Job Description
Our client is a well established manufacturing business based near Lisburn and are currently on the market for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team.
The successful Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing, maintaining and improving facilities across the factory.
Responsibilities:
· Project-manage the installation, commissioning and working of facilities / energy improvement projects
· Manage service contracts and continuously review the efficiency of services.
· Ensure an effective monitoring system for power consumption throughout the plant.
· Reduce operating costs by driving suppliers and improvement projects
· Ensure stakeholders are fully informed.
Criteria :
· Third level Building Services Engineering qualification
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a plant maintenance environment
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with experience of managing a team
· Experience of negotiating contracts and managing contractors on site
· Analytical ability and organisational skills
· Strong IT skills
Salary is up to £42k depending upon experience. Benefits include pension, excellent holidays and an early Friday finish.
