Based in the outskirts of Belfast in Co Down, our busy engineering client is seeking applications for the post of Design Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and draw components using Solidedge and AutoCAD
• Create CNC programs for various manufacturing processes
• Assist in design of special tooling if necessary for certain projects
• Ensuring all deadlines/schedules are met, in line with production & operations departments requirements
• Provide assistance to the sales team to provide technical backup and/or design drawings as required
• Any other design related work that may be required such as the development of new products

Criteria:

• Previous experience of AutoCAD within manufacturing / engineering environment
• 3d modelling experience is highly desirable

Salary is up to £30k depending upon experience. Applications are welcome from entry level applicants.

Working hours are 9-5 with an early finish on Friday!
