An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious sport and leisure professional to join our team to deliver greater health benefits for people in Slough through the full range of places and partnerships across the borough. The Senior Active Communities Officer role is key to monitoring, developing and promoting participation opportunities in leisure, sports, and physical activities that contribute to the health of our residents.
The work will be delivered in collaboration with our local stakeholders, including residents, council colleagues, contractors and local sport organisations. You will have an eye for detail in contract monitoring and be key to influencing the positive development of sport and leisure sites, liaising on improvement planning, and monitoring performance data. This role is the key liaison between local facility operators, sports clubs, other physical activity providers and council officers.
