About The Role
Our Renewables Asset Management team have a new and exciting role available for an Asset Manager to focus on our growth into solar technology. Reporting to the O&M Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will help maintain and improve systems that keep our sites operating safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will support risk management, continuous improvement, and consistent HSE practices across all sites. We are looking for someone with solar experience or knowledge who is ready to be integral in the next stage of our team's growth.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities are conducted in strict compliance with Energia Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
- Development of management systems and improvements in line with ISO9001 & ISO55001 recommendations.
- Promote awareness of ISO55001 Asset Management and associated Energia policies.
- Responsible for maximizing the performance, availability and profitability of assets.
- Collaborate with the wider team to manage and resolve defects, technical issues, RCAs through contract agreements.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders in relation to the management of O&M contracts to ensure all contractual requirements are delivered on site.
- Produce daily / monthly / annual reports for senior management.
- Collate all site activity reports and feedback a summary and analysis to management.
- Project manage planned outages across all solar sites and monitor progress of each.
- Assist in the management of the handover of new assets coming into the Renewables Operations remit.
- Track, report and elevate any issues with project deliverables as defined by programme and takeover criteria.
- Provide support for operational activities on site as required.
- Oversight and control of work orders for routine and non-routine maintenance works.
- Generation of follow-up service requests.
- Assist with and/or provide cover for other H&S or Operational duties as required.
- Ad hoc project management as business projects arise.
- Visit site(s) on occasional basis to meet stakeholders, carry out audits or update on issues first hand.
About You
Key Criteria – What You'll Need
- Qualification in engineering or project management and/or operational experience of PV generation technologies.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar Asset Management role.
- Demonstrable experience of developing reports including technical information and recommendations.
- Experience in project handover or project commissioning phases.
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of ISO 55001 Asset Management Standard and experience of CMMS or Asset management system (Maximo or other).
- Experience of working in Solar Asset Management or knowledge of solar technologies in RoI.
