About the role
We are very excited to be offering this structured two-year Trading Graduate Programme starting in September 2025. Following a comprehensive induction of the overall Energia Group company, youll then embark on your journey on the Trading Graduate Programme.
Over the programme, youll have multiple rotations across the different teams within Trading which will give you a unique exposure to understanding all aspects of what trading entails! Youll quickly become a subject matter expert on energy market fundamentals and with access to a vast amount of information and data, youll focus on delivering value to the business from Day 1.
This programme is structured to bring out the very best in you and give you the opportunity to excel in an analytical and commercial role, where being curious and inquisitive are key attributes for success. To aid your development in this fast-paced environment, youll be assigned an experienced mentor and a buddy who will relay their knowledge to assist with your ongoing skills development.
About you
- Obtained a minimum of a 2.1 degree, in a discipline with a high level of numerical or financial content e.g. Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering etc.
- A keen interest in the energy industry and the role of trading.
- Experience of analysing complex datasets to present quantitative insights to key stakeholders. This may include utilising computer languages and analytical tools such as: Excel, Python, R, SQL, PowerBI etc.
