Power NI, part of Energia Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst (Regulation / PE Hub) based in Belfast. This role is an expression of interest for someone who has at least 5 years' experience in a Senior Business Analyst role, with extensive knowledge of our business and market. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our strategic and regulatory initiatives. You will work across a broad range of projects, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood, effectively captured, and aligned with both commercial priorities and regulatory obligations.

The role will likely involve significant engagement with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry working groups, and market forums, where you will represent Power NI's position, contribute to policy development, and influence future market design and regulation. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will initially be part of the Positive Energy Hub feeding into Project Focus to explore retail systems - so a deep understanding of our billing system and market procedures would be helpful.

What you'll need:

  • At least 3 years' experience working as a Senior Business Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of market procedures and regulatory obligations i.e. supplier licence, supplier handbook.
  • Experience leading or having played a key role within strategic and/or industry level projects.
  • Experience of attending industry forums and engaging directly with the Regulator on industry change.
  • High quality documentation and communication skills.
