About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join the Customer Value Management (CVM) team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. The CVM team is responsible for managing customer value, developing and delivering retention strategies, and executing customer retention and lifecycle campaigns across the customer base. This role has been created to provide additional capacity and expertise within the team during a period of planned maternity leave. The successful candidate will report to the Retention Strategy Manager and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of customer marketing and retention activities, including lifecycle marketing, customer communications, retention campaigns, stakeholder management, agency collaboration, customer analytics, and strategic customer value initiatives. Working closely with others across Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Experience and Data teams, they will play a key role in delivering measurable customer and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Retention Strategy & Customer Value Management: Develop and implement customer retention strategies to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value (CLV). Champion the use of CLV across CVM activities and the business. Identify opportunities to improve retention performance through customer insights, segmentation, and market analysis. Work with the Sales & Retention team in Antrim to achieve this. Continuously review and optimise retention initiatives to maximise business value and ensure all campaigns are working towards the business plan.
  • Feasibility and analysis on initiatives: Research and explore the feasibility of new strategic initiatives which would benefit the overall business strategy.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of retention campaigns, from identifying opportunities, briefing relevant stakeholders, through to deployment and performance analysis. Develop targeted, data driven customer communications across multiple channels. Drive campaign optimisation through testing, personalisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Data, Insights & Reporting: Work closely with the Data Office to develop and enhance churn, propensity, and CLV models. Analyse customer behaviour and campaign performance to identify trends and opportunities. Monitor and report on retention KPIs, campaign performance, and business plan targets. Identify gaps and improvements for retention reporting and work with relevant teams to achieve this. Support in ad-hoc activities such as tariff changes, product roll outs and energy transition initiatives. Flexibility to work on other areas as required.

About You

Key Criteria

  • Third level degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Management or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with customer data, segmentation, analytics and reporting.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Commercially focused with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience or knowledge of marketing automation tools like Adobe Campaign.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, building relationships and stakeholder management.
