About the Role: Energia is undertaking a major transformation programme, Project Prime, to implement Workday Financials, Strategic Sourcing, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM). The Workday CLM Administrator will play a critical role in the successful design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing management of the AI-enabled CLM platform. The platform will systemise how Energia sources and onboards third-party suppliers and manages third-party contracts.
The successful candidate will act as the primary CLM system specialist throughout the programme, working closely with Workstream Delivery Leads, the wider Project Team, Implementation Partners, Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT, and stakeholders from across the organisation to establish modern digital capabilities across sourcing and contract management. Following go-live, the role will transition into the enduring support organisation.
Responsibilities will include platform administration, continuous improvement, user support, release management, contract intelligence capabilities, and AI model optimisation.
Responsibilities: Day-to-day, here's what your new role would look like:
- During Design and Implementation: The role will play a critical part in the Prime Project team. Working in the Source to Contract Workstream, you will act as a subject matter expert to:
- Translate business requirements into Workday Strategic Sourcing and CLM configuration requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders to establish a central contract repository in Workday.
- Work with Implementation Partners to define, build, and validate AI models and associated outputs.
- Input into the definition of the Contract Migration Strategy, contract metadata, and taxonomy standards, leading the cleansing, enrichment, and validation of contract data.
- Execute system testing activities, including management of defect triage and resolution activities.
- Enduring Support and Continuous Improvement: Following implementation, the role will become a key member of the Workday Systems support function and will:
- Administer the Workday Strategic Sourcing and CLM platform.
- Manage security roles, configuration updates, and system maintenance.
- Provide second-line functional support.
- Investigate and resolve system issues.
- Coordinate Workday releases and feature adoption.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
About You: Key Criteria What You'll Need:
- Experience participating in enterprise system implementations.
- Experience working with procurement, legal, contract management, or sourcing processes.
- Strong understanding of sourcing and/or contract lifecycle management processes.
- Experience supporting testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Experience managing business stakeholders across multiple functions.
Desirable Criteria: These criteria help decide between candidates who meet all the key criteria above:
- Experience configuring or administering business applications.
- Experience with contract management or procurement systems implementation, administration, super-user responsibilities, or similar.
- Experience with document migration projects and associated metadata management.
- Experience supporting SaaS applications and release management.
- Experience with DocuSign or e-signature platforms and integrations.
- Experience with AI-enabled contract review technologies.
