The Role
Reporting directly to our Huntstown Production Manager, the Manufacturing Technician undertakes the operations and maintenance of the two Huntstown CCGT power plants, along with other generation assets, on a shift cycle. The successful candidate will bring proven experience as a highly motivated and resourceful Technician in the power or manufacturing industries. Being able to demonstrate passion, self-assurance, integrity and troubleshooting skills are core elements of this challenging role.
What you'll need:
- Completion of a time-served apprenticeship and/or a third level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, C&I or Automation Engineering
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues on production equipment, e.g. mechanical, electrical, automation, control, process chemistry
- Proven ability to operate and/or maintain production plant and equipment
- Demonstrable experience of drafting and updating operating procedures and/or technical reports
