We are looking for a support worker for our mental health charity. We are a small, friendly, and supportive team. The role will include assisting individuals in the community with various needs, including social activities, income maximisation, and tenancy management, while promoting independence and wellbeing.
The Support Worker will be expected to build and maintain professional, positive, and supportive therapeutic relationships within which service users are encouraged to reach their maximum potential through opportunities for personal growth and development. The support worker will engage in one-to-one support and in team working and development.
Appointment is pensionable and offers support through an employee assistance programme and manager supervision. SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care required. The Support Worker may also be asked to undertake other tasks as required and as appropriate to the post holder’s skills. ENeRGI is a real living wage employer. Driving licence preferred. No sponsorship.
