We are seeking an experienced ICT Design Consultant to join a dynamic and innovative team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and support for ICT projects, from strategy formulation to design and implementation.
- Design and review ICT physical infrastructure, including structured cabling systems, building control, and communication systems.
- Author and review technical specifications, design documents, and performance standards using tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.
- Conduct site visits for compliance monitoring, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Engage with client stakeholders, lead technical tasks, and manage junior staff on projects.
- Contribute to ICT masterplans, feasibility studies, and develop innovative digital technology solutions.
- Ensure designs conform to client requirements, health and safety laws, industry standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Sciences (MEng, BEng, BSc), or related field.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in ICT consultancy or engineering roles.
- Proficiency in designing ICT systems such as structured cabling, IoT, satellite communications, GSM systems, and Wi-Fi mapping.
- Experience with WiredScore or other technical benchmarking for buildings.
- Strong ability to produce schematic diagrams, specifications, project reports, and conduct site inspections.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Autodesk software.
- Membership in IET, BCS, BICSI RCDD, or similar is a plus.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and client-facing capabilities.
