This is a chance to join a collaborative, design-led practice known for creativity, technical excellence, and environmentally responsible thinking. You’ll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to push ideas further — whether you’re delivering your own projects or leading teams on complex schemes.
The Opportunity
You’ll work across a diverse portfolio ranging from community and cultural projects to commercial, healthcare, residential, and specialist infrastructure schemes. The role offers real responsibility, client exposure, and the chance to influence both design outcomes and the wider direction of the practice.
Depending on experience, you will:
- Deliver structural designs from concept through to construction
- Lead or contribute to small and medium projects, and support larger, complex schemes
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; review and verify design work
- Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend site visits, meetings, and design workshops
- Contribute to project scope, fees, and programme planning
- Ensure compliance with UK standards, CDM regulations, and sustainability goals
About You
You’re technically strong, curious, and thoughtful in how you approach engineering — and you care about the impact your work has.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2–5+ years’ experience in structural engineering, including UK consultancy experience
- Chartered or actively working towards Chartership
- Confident working independently while thriving in collaborative teams
- Strong communicator with clear written and spoken English
- Experience with UK standards and design software (e.g. Tekla, Revit)
- Interest or experience in timber, composites, sustainability, or specialist sectors is a plus
Why Join?
You’ll be part of a supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture that invests in people as much as projects. Learning, mentoring, and career progression are built into everyday work — not treated as extras.

- 25–31 days annual leave (with options to buy more) + bank holidays
- Employer pension contribution
- Private health cover, life & income insurance
- Health cash plan and monthly fitness contribution
