A multi-disciplinary engineering consulting practice is seeking a Senior - Associate Structural Engineer to join its growing mission critical team. Having successfully secured major hyperscale data centre projects with leading, tier 1 contractors, the business continues to expand its presence within one of the construction industry's fastest growing sectors.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior - Associate Structural Engineer who enjoys hands on design, technical problem solving and project delivery.
We Are Looking For A Senior - Associate Structural Engineer Who:
- Has around 10 years of UK experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment;
- Is Chartered, or working towards Chartership, with either the IStructE or ICE;
- Has experience delivering complex building structures projects;
- Has exposure to a range of construction materials including steel, concrete and masonry;
- Enjoys technical delivery and detailed engineering design;
- Is confident liaising with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders;
- Can work effectively as part of a collaborative project team;
- Is willing to attend the Hertfordshire office three days per week.
As The Successful Senior- Associate Structural Engineer, You Will:
- Deliver structural engineering designs across major hyperscale data centre projects;
- Work on some of the largest mission critical developments currently under construction in the UK;
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and leading contractors;
- Produce and review structural calculations, reports and design documentation;
- Contribute technical expertise throughout project delivery from concept through to construction;
- Work across a variety of structural forms, materials and engineering challenges;
- Support junior engineers where required whilst maintaining a predominantly technical focus;
- Play a key role in the continued growth of the data centre division.
